Let's have a fish fry!

We have everything you need to make a great meal out of your day's catch.   First, you need a good fryer.  We carry Cajun Injector products that range in size and are offered in gas or electric.

We recommend that you use peanut oil for the best results, but you can use other cooking oils as well. Heat the oil to 375 degrees. Use a candy thermometer to monitor the oil temperature. The temperature will drop when you add the fish but it should promptly recover.  TIP:  When fish are cooked at a lower temperature they will stay oily, so make sure you watch the temperature. Remember you can use the oil several times before throwing it out, but it is best to strain the oil to remove any debris after it cools down.

Next, wash the fish. Using Hamm's Breading Mix in a Batter Pro or a zip lock bag, place some of the pieces in the container and shake it until the pieces are completely covered in breading.  Place them directly in the oil and wait for the fish to float and are a golden brown color.  Place cooked fish directly on some paper towels and enjoy.  We promise you will make some new friends.
